Discovering Art in Every Moment
Growing up in Kenya, my love for art started with drawing with chalk outside. My mother was incredibly supportive and soon allowed me to experiment by painting on the walls of my room. She even kept some of those early paintings, which I cherish to this day.

When I joined the army at 19, I didn't have the means for traditional art supplies, so I turned to pens and ink to keep my creativity alive. Those simple tools became a source of comfort and expression.

During the challenging times of COVID, I rediscovered my passion for art, using ink once again. Scrolling through TikTok, I stumbled upon paint-pouring videos, which looked incredibly therapeutic. Although I couldn't afford to try it then, those videos planted a seed of inspiration.

As I transitioned into high-tech, I finally had the resources to explore paint-pouring, and it was just as therapeutic as I had imagined. Recently, I've been adding glow-in-the-dark elements to my work, thanks to the creative ideas from my wonderful husband.
